Work in progress for my piece for 400 women, a touring group exhibition responding to the murders of more than 400 women in the US border town of Juarez Mexico.
The woman I've been given to memorialise in portrait form is Alejandre Janeth Diaz Sanchez who was raped and beheaded at 13. Her family don't own a photograph of her. I'm creating a typographic memorial to her sewn with my hair.

This is incredible Ali, so beautiful. Would love to see it in the flesh, will have to do a studio visit with small boy soon!
