'Talking of parks, I was back in London last week and picked up 'Park Stories', a collection of 8 tales set in the Royal Parks. Beautiful as the books themselves are, the idea of tying a narrative to a place (whether fact of fiction) is a brilliant way to capture the imagination. Forget stilted place brands with tired taglines. Maybe we should, instead, set authors loose to dream up new narratives and breathe life back into forgotten places'
